1. Hello,

   After looking at your photo gallery, I was wondering if your brewery was recently built or is in a historic building?

   Any info would be great!

   • I believe the building was built in the 70′s……….originally Burger 5 it became a host of other business over the years. We hope our our original brewery and taproom are the last to grace it’s concrete walls!

2. Which Golden Nugget recipe won the contest, Red, Blue or black?

   • Well we changed the colors every day, but the same G-Nug that won last year’s Gold Rush won again this year. Thanks for voting, can’t wait for new Golden Nuggets at next year’s rush, we’ll see if the Citroid can defend her title again!!

3. I have enjoyed your fine ales at Red’s while visiting family in the Iowa City area. Any plans on blessing our tap handles in Des Moines with your fine brews??

     Thanks so much, we really appreciate you trying our beers. We are trying hard to make it to Des Moines. It’s a pretty far trip for one beer man to make from our little Decorah brewery, but we promise to be there as soon as we can!

4. Hi,

   Any chance to you are going to be bottling 6-packs or 22oz bombers at some point in the future? I drive through from time to time and would love to bring some of your beers back home to St. Louis.

   • Soon, Mathew. Within the year, we certainly hope. For now, growlers will have to suffice.

5. Tried your Irish red about a month ago and now I’m hooked. What are the chances of getting something on tap in fort dodge? There’s nothing for craft beers in this town.

   • Thanks a lot, Ben! Right now, Fort Dodge is a little far away for our one man Iowa distribution team… but don’t worry, we will get there soon! New brew system coming up fast so we can bring the beer to you!
